ABOUT
Amanda DeBoer Bartlett is a vocalist, composer, conductor, and organizer based in Chicago, IL. Known for emotionally vibrant and virtuosic performances, her repertoire flows seamlessly between contemporary opera, experimental chamber music, improvisation, folk music, and her original songs and compositions.
Bartlett is a founding member of Quince Ensemble, an all-women contemporary vocal group, and Hasco Duo, an experimental improvisation and songwriting project. She is a member of the award-winning Ensemble Dal Niente, a Chicago-based chamber orchestra that commissions and performs the music of living composers. Born and raised in Omaha, NE, DeBoer holds degrees from DePaul University, the University at Buffalo, and Bowling Green State University.
