THE APPROACH is an episodic, magical-realist song cycle by composer Paul Pinto, commissioned by Quince with support from Chamber Music America’s Classical Commissioning Fund. The piece was premiered at the Kaufmann Center for the Arts’ Merkin Hall, and recorded at the Robert Ashley Studio, both in New York City. The album will be released on Gold Bolus Recordings.
